Advice wanted please! Currently using Route 2000 but need something that gives a view down the side of the caravan. Also which is best - concave, convex or flat.------------- Lin

Flat ones!
Hate these ones that give you a 'false' image when they're concave / convex.
We were given a pair for our old Mondeo. They had kind of scissor type 'legs', with rubber bungee securing straps to hold them in place...
Crap compared to the Aero mirrors we have now....------------- Damned if I do...
Damned if I don't!!!!

I use a cheap Milenco copy on my Mondeo. Find them very good. Don't see the copies around very often though.

Milenco Aeros(not Grand)are the best.------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I have been using strap-on mirrors on my Volvo for the past 3 years without any problems. Good view and no vibration. Can't see how the Milenco ones could be any better. As good, probably, more expensive, certainly, but better, how?------------- Best Regards,
Colin

I also use the strap on type mirrors and I actually found they give less vibration than others I tried, and I have a 63 Mondeo.

We have just returned from 5 weeks travelling in France using the Milenco Grand Aero mirrors that we bought on an impulse before we left. Got to say they are a fantastic buy and much better than the Milenco Aeros, that we have been using for many years. They are very easy to get into that sweet spot of adjustment and the view they give is outstanding and no more shake on them than the Aeros.

I agree I've used ones with the rubber strap, and recently brought grand Aeros they were expensive and I don't think they are any better.------------- Claire and Colin
