Hi. I've recently just bought this car. Just trying my Milenco aero mirrors on the car and the clamps don't fit. As I tried tightening the mirror down you can hear the plastic trim around the car mirror creaking as though it's about to crack.
Contacted BMW who tell me they don't do a mirror for the MSpec and the one they do for X5 is £130 (ouch) but wouldn't advise me to buy them as they weren't happy with the fitting.
Does anybody have a mirror they use on this car or any advice to a mirror that could fit. Many Thanks Scoobz.
Hi Grahame, done that last weekend,sadly they came off. The straps weren't long enough as they seem big mirrors. Someone suggested a company called repusel ( I think there called ) from Holland. But can only get them through Amazon . But at nearly £100 it's a big gamble. Thanks for the comment though.
I got some longer straps for mine a couple of years ago - wish I could remember where from..:(
