Hi, could someone please help me. I have an extra with a mass in service of 1571kg, Mac permissible mass 2020kg permissible towable mass of 1400kg. Can I pull a caravan with a MIRO of 1048kg and MTPCM of 1289kg.
I've looked on various different sites and my head hurts from trying to figure it out!!!!

Those two have a total of 3309 kg.On a B license you are OK up to 3500kg and the weights also give a good towing ratio so you are fine.

I presume it is an Astra not extra .Depending on engine size that will be how well it pulls uphill.

Well that's towing at 82% and the numbers all add up so you are not breaking any laws and are well within safe limits. Not sure what engine your Astra has but if it was not capable of pulling off on a 20% gradient towing 1400kg they wouldn't state that as the max towing weight.
