will the latest report from the government on advising people not to buy diesel cars, be the demise of the fuel, I know it probably not be in my caravan towing days but i hate to think that towing with a petrol car will be very expensive.
------------- you are only as old as the woman you feel.
Oh come on. It's a non story. Nothing changes for about 50yrs. By then they might have developed an electric car with a 500mile range that can be recharged in 2 minutes.
In the meantime we will have left the EU & all their daft yogurt weaving environmental laws. Did you actually read that 'advice'? It didn't actually say anything except something about buying lower emission cars. Well I've just done that. Bought a diesel car with only 113Co2 emissions.
Government ministers that live in 10 bedroom houses, fly all over the world in planes & probably drive Range Rovers are not really in any position to lecture normal folks on the environment.
Towing with a petrol car will be absolutely fine anyway. If you can afford to go caravanning at all you can afford the extra fuel.
