I have picked up a pennine fiesta today, when connected to the electrics the right hand indicator comes on and stays solid with the brake pedal. It also comes on when the car is in reverse.
I have had a look at the wiring in the light clusters and all appears ok, right colours in the right places etc. The car is also wired correctly. I am stumped!! Has anyone any ideas or has anyone come across this before???
Sounds like bad earth. Probably the 7pin plug on trailer that plugs into car socket. Take it apart. You will probably find it's wet & corroded inside. Strip wires back to good wire & fit a new 7pin plug.
