We have finally decided to upgrade from trailer tent to a 2 birth caravan, our Zafira 1.6 needs to be upgraded first. What car for caravan with MTPLM 1090 - 1296 kg budget approx 12k? Help needed! Many thanks

My 2 berth caravan has mtplm of 1,318kg. I tow it with a Skoda Octavia Estate 2.0TDi 4x4 giving around 33-37mpg towing. Very good load / carry space in the rear for equipment etc. Very pleased with the way it tows and very stable with 75kg noseweight.
