Picked up my 15 reg Sorento yesterday, there was an Owner's Manual and an Audio Manual.There are no instructions in either on how to use the Sat Nav.Did other owners get a separate Sat Nav Manual?

Found it, under the cover in the boot, next to the Spare wheel???
It is in 15 languages and over 2inches thick!

Surely they can't be that bad as they propose using a Sat-Nav as part of the UK driving test.

Always set it for the fastest rout, if you set it to the shortest you could end up going down country lanes, or even farm tracks

No problems using the satnav in our Sorento - but I always check out an unknown route on a map first and decide on my own preferred route and the satnav usually picks up on it, even if it's not the way it would have taken us originally. Once the satnav has worked out your route it offers you 3 choices - fastest (marked in blue), shortest (in red) and most eco-friendly - I think (in green). You have to choose 1 of them by pressing on the touch screen before the satnav bursts into action. We sometimes forget that stage and wonder why it's not speaking to us!
