Line up the 13 pin plug with the 13 pin socket, there's a locating lug. Push it in gently and rotate the outer collar clockwise (it feels as though you are rotating the plug, but you aren't) the collar is what locks the plug in place. To remove, rotate the collar ant-clockwise and pull plug out gently. Once you've done it a few times it feels right!
