it's the more powerful of the diesels the premiuim spec(134 bhp)and will tow my van with no problem,it was more the quality of the driving as it only gets average reviews compared with other makes.Thanks for the replies

A sales rep who comes to see me has the 140 estate. the clutch burnt out on the first week he had the car, but since then no other problems. He says despite the clutch problem its far nicer than his previous passat

We have a 65 plate Hyundai i30 DCT, diesel with stop/start.
It towed our single axle 1200kg van with ease, all round South Wales, it achieved 32mpg towing with air con on.
I love driving it, it's very responsive and feels good!
Disappointed with dail mpg as I only get 40 mpg, but that's my daily commute of 5 miles each way crawling in traffic, long solo runs are very good.
Recommended if you have a lightweight van.

Thank you every one for your input,as I'm now having a little back trouble and did struggle to get in and out of a mondeo i'll stick to my mokka for now as it's easier to get in and out of
