It's possible to get your C group back if you need it even after your new licence is returned.

Wrong!!!! Although your 'new' licence goes from the date it is renewed, the expiry date is the day before 3 years from your 70th birthday! I know because I've just done it!!

Talk to the DVLA as my husband licence ru s out in May but he birthday is April spoke to DVLA and he has till licence runs out in May.

My wife's grandfather was towing up to being 83 but after a few miner bumbs (without the caravan on ) he stoped towing but still drive's at the ripe old age of 92

The missing groups simply have a line through the from and to date fields. Definitely taken away.

Luckily I don't need them. There was a note on the web site form I filled in saying this would happen.
