No it is the previous model. So the new one may be slightly better. Even the previous model had a 2.5l engine. It also has the same tow limit of 1650kg

Probably for a similar reason I drive a car that averages around 30mpg with a best so far of 47mpg on one trip.
WE LIKE TO DRIVE THEM .. and prefer the driving position.. with the benefits of 4 wheel drive when needed.
I have owned nothing else but 4x4s since 2004 and would not go back to an ordinary car.

VW Tiguan R line dsg 190 40k new cc tax to me £404 per month mile allowance back to me 12p per mile wltp brochure economy 39.5mpg 15k business miles = £1800 return
