Has anyone fitted a tow bar to a Vauxhall Combo Life with reverse beepers yet? I successfully used a swan neck on a Zafira without it bothering the reverse beepers, but the fitter I’m booked with this time isn’t sure. I’d rather not go for removable unless I absolutely have to.

If you have a dedicated wiring loom installed reverse 2beepers" should not be an issue.

I have never has a single issue with any car with reverse "beepers" fitted and dedicated wiring looms.

I think the OP is wondering whether the beepers will be activated when reverse is selected without a trailer attached, in which case the type of wiring loom is irrelevant.

In my experience the beepers have not been activated with a swan necked towbar fitted, although on a CRV I found that the towball cover had to be straight to prevent it happening. The fitter is being cautious because he cannot be certain until the towbar is fitted, and so most recommend a detachable.
