Anybody on here had a tow bar fitted to an xc 60?
Do the fitters HAVE to cut a lump out of the rear valance or is it down to the fitter or the style/ type of tow bar you have fitted ?

Hi had one fitted to an xc90. It was a swan neck detachable which didn't need any modifications to the bodywork. They also supplied a cover for the bit where the tow bar attached to the vehicle. I must say that this was fitted by a Volvo main dealer. There are many options to chose from. The final choice is your's
So probably the same as of today .... cheers, did they put the original crash bar back on ?
The metal bit behind the bumper , some say put it back on , some say the tow bar is replacing it

Have a look at P F Jones website (towbar supplier and fitter). They have a range of XC60 towbars, dedicated wiring kits etc. All require a bumper cut (most are non-visible, unless you look underneath)
