Hello all after some advice on route from M54 A5 and then through Knockin on B4396 through to Bala. Is it ok towing a caravan 7mtr been a long time since I have been on that road and cannot remember what it's like, heading to Criccieth area. Thanks in advance.
Agri.
We did this route last year it’s ok a little narrow and twists and turns but fine x a bit slow going . We came back the north coast road a bit longer but easy driving . We store in Shrewsbury .
I'm not familiar with the road through Knockin that you describe, however, you can typically expect at least a significant part of a Welsh B road to be narrow, twisty and better suited to ox-carts than modern cars towing caravans.
My own preference for towing to Bala is to stay on the A5 through Llangollen and then turn left on the A494.
Continuing on to Criccieth, the A4212 to Trawsfynydd has a few hills on it - this is Snowdonia, after all - but is easily towable.
