Hi, At the moment I drive the above car as a micro campervan and have really enjoyed it. It did take me a while to get used to the occasional jumpiness when pulling away, never resorted to driving it on manual paddles. However, I now want to go back to a touring caravan (had one 12yrs ago different car), I’m looking at an Eriba triton again. The kerb weight etc are all fine and van/car well below 85%. My question is does anybody had experience of towing with this type of semi automatic gearbox? Best wishes Janblem

I don't, but the only real difference between towing and solo driving should be needing to change down a bit more often.

Not had the car you mention but had a Mondeo diesel auto with 2 push buttons to manually change up and down.

It always changed gear based on speed so when towing I had to change manually especially on hills. Other than that it towed fine.
