Hi does anybody know if there are any roadworks or diversions on this road as I’m towing my van to the caravan and motorhome site next week , thanks .

Look at Google Street View where you can virtually "drive" along it. I don't know the road, but have probably driven on it.

I was on there a couple of weeks ago and there were no roadworks.

Google maps was advising of a closure of the A684 immediately after Bedale, but it was out of date as the works were finished.

If you use google maps to show you the route (ie get directions from home to site), the map will show a symbol for any roadworks. There’ll be little thumbnail photos at each junction too.
Other online tools are available, but I find that one accurate.
It’ll also show amber (slow) or red (very slow or stopped) sections in real time, thanks to all our phones in the cars on that road transmitting where we are.

Edit to add: I just put in those places, 2 routes come up, one has a red section so it takes longer. But neither shows roadworks now. Might next week though…. Only 35 mins or so.
