hi fellow campers am havin problems with my hartford xl just bought it from millets today £279.took it straight up the field to erect it with my 6 year old daughter and my 3 year old son .my son would not stop moaning all the time i was there.needless to say i never acomplished my goal, i got stuck on the 3 main long cross section poles, could get 2 in but the third made abolutely no sense,i really think i need a second adult to help me  .plz help what was i doin wrong.....plz reply as i am hopin to pitch up this weekend

Errr posting in the Caravan forum!! Try a post in the Tent forum. Better still, do what we did - ditch the tent and get a 'van. can't be doing with all that pegging out hassle meself, anymore!!

Do you know that all Hartford XL 2005 models have the colour coding for the poles the wrong way round? ie the blue poles go in the red sleeves and the red poles in the blue.
