The maximum tow weight for the Picasso is 1300kg, but as it also has a kerb weight of 1300kg the ideal tow weight is as Laird John says 1100kg or thereabouts. You wouldn't want to tow much above this weight anyway because it can struggle abit on any incline because its not particularly powerful (even the 110bhp). That said its a great towcar for stability, probably due to the fact the towbar almost sits dead in the centre of the rear axle due to the small rear overhang.
