Hi, i just wanted to let you know that this weekend I towed our caravan 120 miles, it's the first time i have towed the van, I really enjoyed it. Last year I towed our beloved TT to Cambridge and loved it. Towing the caravan was different, but great, what an achievment I am chuffed to bits, so is hubby, because it now need'nt be his job.

. You will be like my wife soon and do it all the time. Get a bit more experience and I would recommend a manouvering course. Makes reversing with the van a doddle. The wife has been towing for a lot longer than me. I have been towing for eight years. I got the reversing bit right 1st time. Wife did the course at the start of the year. She can now pitch the van all by herself when I am not there.

we went away at the weekend in our first caravan and OH was a bit scared of towing but he did great and i was very proud of him and we can't wait to go away again
