Thanks for that kibb. I don' t actually own an S80, just considering getting one. Called in to the local dealers this afternoon, and they checked up and said that it was 75Kgs - which surprised me, as I had hoped it would be more than that.

Don't believe what car salesmen tell you about weights etc, they just want to sell cars!

I've got an S80 T6 Eddie and the book quotes approx? 50kgs for a trailer under 1200kgs and again approx/ 75kgs for a trailer over 1200kgs.
Note: The weight on the towbar is included in the car load capacity and the load in the boot may need to be reduced so that the axle weights and/or total weight is not exceeded when driving with a trailer.
