Helen D's oh; Diesel without a doubt. Loads of torque, 40mpg out of a 2.0ltr turbo diesel and doing 40,000 a year mainly in Europe (where diesel is cheaper) it keeps the expenses down. Would not go back to petrol.

I love driving a diesel, after years of driving diesel company cars and the privately owning a few petrol cars I have gone back to diesel for the economy and towing factor...

 A.S.C , did you get a reply from the Mondeo forum, interested cause we've got a 1.8 Mondeo on a 51 plate and have a fairly light van and hope we are going to be ok, if not looks like a new car is on the horizon
