We got home about 10pm, didn't leave site until about 7.15pm and then got stuck for 45mins behind a combine harvester but what fantastic weather we had for September and in a really lovely location.
We had a great time this weekend along with a really great crowd of mates including some new ones.
The moment of the weekend for me was when Tim changed his name to Mohamed

Sorry not posted before, as most of you know, NO INTERNET at home AGAIN !!!
What a cracking w/end, great great bunch of peeps, thanks for my pressies and the laughs xxxx Just what me and Mark needed, shame we have had to come home to this c**p !!!
So much going on at work, too much to say on here, I'm better explaining on phone or in person, will know more in a couple of hours, so wish we did have the internet, I'm in the library at the mo, then this strange lad just walked in on the off chance and sat next to me !!! OK, it was Nath who just happened to pop in on his lunchtime to buy something, coincidence or what???
I am thinking of going to this site shortly. Can anyone tell me if there is a pub/restaurant within walking distance or have I to take my own pop and sandwiches. Neither the website nor the reviews mention anything much about the local area.
Thanks Tentoholics and Paul and Wendy. I saw something mentioned about the Silent Woman but it sounded like it was a car journey away. Half a mile (or even a mile and a half) is no problem. Looks a nice pub too.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
