Hi all,
I owe our youngest son a light for his large tent (3 kids age 13, 5 & 1). Any suggestions? We had some battery operated round ones with LEDs but they don't seem to be available any more & I'm a bit stuck.

Have a look at the "LE Camping Lantern" on Amazon. I have had one for a few years and it is very good. The batteries last forever and there is a hook on the base so you can remove the diffuser and hang it in the tent.
I have had several lamps over the years and this one is the best.

I got one from Leisureshopdirect as a wee gift for someone at Christmas, which acts as a powerbank too, and has various modes. Extremely bright last for an hour, gentle warm white much longer & there’s a red light too.

Can highly recommend the CL30R, and the older version of the CL26R.

Certainly looks like the latter has been updated, but my older versions are still going strong after more than a decade.

They have jumped up in price though, in fairness!

We use a led ribbon strip light cheap and takes up minimal room when packed away.
Decent light out put.
Only any good of you have 240 power or a decent power bank as the one we have runs from a usb port from a power bank if needed not sure for how long thou as never had to use it like that.

hi I use some remote lights from amazon come in packs of 3 cost about £10.how I stick them oh the inside of the bedrooms glue a washer on the back of the light and use a small strong magnet. so the light on the inside of the bedroom and the magnet on the outside. my lights are 3 years old this summer still using the same batteries

I've just bought a set of these:

They are small multipurpose LED lights with USB micro charging.
Use them as torches or to light a small tent with the built in hooks.
If you are walking back from the pub the flashing red and blue lights will keep you safe on the road.
Military Mart are reliable, deliver fast and stock some interesting stuff.

I sometimes put battery operated “tea light candles” along the MH window sill. Could look nice at a tent door. Got them from a charity shop.
A site recently had fully illuminated “happy Easter” type signs in MH side windows: not my choice, but not my MH. Might have been plug-in, which might give more lighting options for tents on EHU.
