During my recent mini adventure, I did a brief inventory of 'stuff' in my bits and bobs box, this things one needs to take but a pfaff to gather each time. I digress. I seem to have an obsession about hooks. I had...three hanging rods of hooks, one not rigid but with fixing straps rather than hooks... two sets of over-door hanging hooks (for the shower - there is only two of us), four small metal double-ended hooks, two hooks with swivel hooks below, 10 hooks with pegs at the ends, and a hook that has a clip fitting (resourceful use of the hanger that came with a scarf). Oh, and EHU I think that's it.
Does anyone share my passion or, discovered a similar compulsion to collect useful camping items of a particular type ??? 🤔 oh, I have two camping vases too...flat things that stand up when full of water (those were gifts, honest).

We have hooks, except ours are fastened to bungee straps. OH uses these for all sorts. If there's nothing to hook on to, he will screw in a loop.
He fastens one along the length of the lifting roof, and hangs his towel there to dry in front of the vents. Clothes can be hung there too to air. (not by me, I can't reach). And we have one hooked between the front/sleeping area and the back/kitchen/toilet area, with a towel thrown over to give us privacy....
Not hooks, however, I appear to have stainless steel karabinas in different sizes and versions, lockable ones as well as unlockable ones.
The lockable ones were purchased when I discovered the dog managed to unhook himself by twisting the chain and trigger clasp.
There is also a collection of stainless steel items like chains, connectors, hooks etc., on top of pegs and dog tether.

I'm delighted I'm not alone (and now typing on laptop so hopefully grammatically correct too, I cant' edit the above and it pains me).
Franbee - thank you. I'd omitted the 4 small double ended bungees in the kit:I use one to hang kitchen towel from the kitchen stand. Very useful things. I was terrified as a child of the 'spider' bungee Dad used to fix the gear on the roofrack, covered by a groundsheet. I was scared one would ping off and take his eye out... a sensitive child with a vivid imagination and catastrophic thinking!
DK, glad to hear you likek to have a selection to suit various occasions and needs... and not because one has forgotten one already has such an item!

Multiple bungees in our MH. The most common use is linking 3 together to hold the Habitation door open when it’s windy & it keeps slamming shut, by attaching the internal handle to the wing mirror at the other end of the vehicle. This line can double up for drying towels outdoors after we shower.

To make you feel better - I have more than one copy of DVDs of the same film in edition and format, not a special director's cut or whatever, because I did not remember I had already bought it!

Bungees here too. The caravan drawers tend to come open on trips so they hook to the nearest thing at both ends. Then there is the TV which sits on one of the seats in transit, held in place by bungees. They also hook together to make a clothes line.
I have a selection of S hooks, very useful for hanging over shower doors, there are never enough hooks. Also for various other uses involving my several lengths of rope and chord.
I also have some alligator clips which are attached to a wire loop. The loop can have a line threaded through for a washing like, or attach the clip to something leaving the loop free for a hook, etc.

Not dissimilar: we have at least two lanyards, the kind you get for the name badge at conferences.
We use them for the key to the site toilet block: easier to find or not lose / hang up for grabbing quickly / hang on the shower door hook.
The best are sold by RNLI shops for £2, the wide strap is comfortable: my bulky set of MH keys is attached, goes round my neck or loops round my belt if the keys are going in my pocket.
