They have a built in pump which activates as the air is lost in the mattress,it cuts in to keep the mattress inflated indoors make them.

Sort of,but where most beds/mattress slowly loose air when your having a kip,these have a small electric pump,which keeps the mattress at the same height and pressure all night.

I’ve just posted about mattresses somewhere else on the forum but here’s my view. Self inflating mattresses bigger and if back packing too big. I found that the unigear camphy3 inflatable mattresses are excellent check reviews on YT I have 2 and can’t recommend enough based on cost, build and comfort side or back sleeper.
