We tried ours out for the first time at Easter for a long weekend.  We bought the Nebraska XL as a long stay tent but were suprised at how easily it can be pitched.  It took two of us to get the poles in but after that I finished pegging whilst OH filled the tent up.

We were at Cotswold View pitched between two caravans so needed to position our tent sideways.  I can see that often being the case where a site has marked out pitches.

We also have the footprint groundsheet and carpet.  The footprint isn't any better than a DIY store tarp except that you don't need to measure and cut it.  Also for a big tent you would need to tape two bits of tarp together to get the length.  I wouldn't bother with a smaller tent like our Monty 4.

I'd highly recommend the carpet.  It protects the SIG and is warm underfoot.

Steve
