what about boiling cups of tea on one of those single gas burner things?  we do that inside the tent all the time.

Still a naked flame in a tent, and there have been a few posts on here from people who've had 'problems' with gas canisters. I wouldn't do it.

We always cook outside unless its raining, then we put the canopy up ( the door with the 2 poles to hold it up ) if that makes sence. We also put the windbreak around it just to try and minimise the wind and rain blowing onto it. I wouldnt feel safe cooking inside the tent especially when the 2 girls are in there to.
