I threw my wet tent over my very high bannisters when I got home Monday...and took it down twenty minutes later, after I spotted my two cats had spotted all the little dingley dangly toggles....

So now it`s up in the attic, draped over the junk. Yes, 48 hours is the maximum to leave it wet and folded. It`s water plus lack of air circulation thatencourages mould to breed.

Thanks for the replies. Tent is now up in the garden (in the rain!) and no damage done.
