i use these bags for holidays & camping as you don't need a vacuum to suck the air out, the one way valve system lets you roll the air out really effectively - i'm amazed at how small i can get a stack of towels!! (as good as if not better than the ones I've tried in the past that do need a hoover)The bags are quite sturdy too - i've had mine for about 4 years now.
i got mine from argos after reading a simiular thread, i sat in the car with my bag and duvet and deflated it in seconds, you have to make sure the bag isn't sticking together so the air flows but its great!!
I bought one of these last summer after my much older, smaller and less powerful inflater finally gve up the ghost. It work s a dream and is very fast at de/inflating. It inflates my Coleman Comfort airbed (double) in around 40 seconds.

We have a couple of pumps that plug into the car cigar lighter for blowing up the airbeds, we also use them for sucking the air out as well, i'll try to find a link to one
My sister wants to use those bags you pack things in and suck the air out and said she would need to buy a little vacuum cleaner to take away with her so she could pack up again. I said I think you can buy electric pumps that work both ways i.e. to inflate and deflate. Am I right or going mad? Could someone enlighten me please?
Thanks
We bought an electric pump which runs of the cigarette lighter for about £7 in Asda. Works like a dream. Sucks and blows!!!!!!
