I just put a loop in both ends of the line and hold it down with a Delta Peg that does the trick for me lol

It's "A"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
O.K. then, maybe "B".
Most importantly - I've learnt NEVER to question the authority of one's wife. Dangerous at home let alone in a field with a mallet within easy reach.

Hi all.
The Line Locks from Cleats for Boats are the way to go.
Check the site out it as other good Items for camping.
Regards.

Hi, just a quick question which I've wondered about for years. Is there a "correct" way to use a guy runner?
There seems to be a few ways to rig them up and I have never seen instructions. My wife and I have different views on how it should be done! In this diagram below, is A or B correct?
Whatever the wife says or you could be wearing loop A or B as a very tight necktie.

It is definitely Bas the top part slides to tension the guy, whilst the knot at the bottom holds the loop for the peg. What would be the point of the lowest hole, on diagram A? And, what would stop this slider from slipping?

The runners I have are slightly shaped and will stay horizontal ( I just have very limited artistic capabilities)
I have one plus a short length of paracord in my hands
( sad ? yes I know )
