We usaully stop at the end of September, but if a good weekend looks on the cards in October then we load up and go. Warmer bedding and hats scarves and gloves.Sometimes the weather is nicer if a little colder in the Autumn than in the summer. Haven't done much this summer, two weekends booked for September though.Have camped a few times in snow and ice, not as a choice but due to unexpected weather change.

For us it's the end of september, as you can see from my signature, we've got 2 more trips planned this year. OH and kids aren't hardy enough to camp into october! We might rent a motorhome for October half term though.
