When among your minimal stuff is that special item you seldom use but it is there at the bottom of the box when the emergency happens.

I haven't cried (yet), but I always feel dissapointed when I wake up in my tent knowing that that's the last night I'll spend in the tent for a little while.

 

When you've recently bought a tent you love then you go and WIN another fab tent and can't bring yourself to ebay one even though you're more skint than you've ever been.  OH is laying on the pressure and I'm resisting like wouldn't believe.  After all you need a tent for any eventuality.

You're as sad as I am then, I do it every time.  I even well up thinking about my favourite sites. 

And, I open up the tent bag every now and then and sniff it.
