Tropical Holland? Apparently it will be after the weekend :)

Wehey! We went we camped - we had a ball!

Ok it was cold but we had a double sleeping bag and a quilt too (amazing how much warmer you are with someone to cuddle!) It was really windy but we guyed the new tent down pretty much straight away - and put it up in the hail wind and sleet! 

We had a landsman pot belly bbq which we lit and we were as warm as toast and happy as pigs in the proverbial with glowy cheeks, cold wine and some music.

Had a fab spot at the side of the river on the laneside campsite - good site, good facilities and the staff were welcoming and helpful - also - only about a mile from 3 pubs and only 2 miles from castleton - fab weekend - the summer starts here!

Sounds fab and very cosy!  

Think a lot of us will be out and about from this weekend, I think the forecast is 18 degrees on Saturday, so it's surely time to air that canvas!

Lidders you are so right... time to air the canvas. Temperatures are going up rapidly and might be 20 at the weekend :)

And you know what that means right? Camping time  :)

Going off Metcheck it looks like it could be quite nice this weekend around where you're going camping.  It's still early, but you can get bad weather in May, so hope you have a great time and enjoy.
