Weather forecast said it was supposed to rain on Wednesday.  I spent 3 hours out on my bike and not a cloud in the sky!  I've got the scorched head to prove it.  Also, it was supposed to rain today but it was generally quite nice and I even sat out for a couple of hours after dinner.

I'm going away too, either Culzean (Ayrshire) or Seaward (Dumfries & Galloway) although it is weather permitting.  I've still not replaced my tent from last year and have a rather snide 4 man thing I picked up as I set out on a 5 day bike tour last year.  It stood up to gale force winds on the Outer Hebrides while other tents 4 times the price were falling down and for that I've developed a strange liking for it... everyone loves an underdog!

Anyway, bottom line is don't trust the forecasts!
