I keep one dose in my wallet and others are kept in a high locker in the van. The car glove compartment is where there are put for travelling and they get left there if we're only away fro a couple of nights.
I keep mine in my bum bag.
Be careful where you store medication if you are somewhere hot. Cars get very hot in the sun - I managed to melt a plastic wrist support in the front of mine once - it had to be shaped after being stuck in boiling water so I dread to think about how hot the car had got.

Can';t say we've ever been bothered about it, and we usually go well supplied as SWMBO is a doctor. They live in a small zip up bag, which usually lives in the car, mostly so we always have it with us, but it;s also well away from very little ones, and kids who we don't know.
I don't worry about ours now, both (8 and 4) know not to touch medicines they haven't been given.
Alway's locked away in the car glove box, simple Kids aren't going to be getting in a locked car now are they?!!
Having it in the car also helps not having to rummage around all the stuff in the tent to get the box or wherever it may be, unless you are a super tidy tent person
