I think FforestFields is fantastic, large pitches, great people, kids love it, dogs love it, and we loved it.

We've booked a long weekend at Fforest fields in July so this is making me all excited about getting there.

All i really need for an ideal pitch is space and peace.

I've found this at a lot of sites but one that comes to mind is Le Comeron in France a few years ago. The pitch was huge. easily enough room for 3 tents never mind one, and although it was busy a lot of Dutch and not many English it was quiet at night.

had success in work sorting out my days off - 1st w/e in July sorted, Fforest Fields - have got the Friday off before BH Monday in August so can go a bit further for that one so will be checking out some of your suggestions - many thanx

You wont be disappointed.  Fforest Fields is wonderful.  We have been several times and intend to return again and again!
