I ask what size the pitches are before booking.

As long as you can safely fit your tent and associated gazebo plus car etc on your pitch, how can they charge extra?

We are staying at Cote Ghyll in August. I have called them this morning. They are happy to accept our big blue monster. We forgot to measure ours when it was up so quoted slayers measurements.

Campsite said it was fine so long as we didnt have a pup tent, which we were originally taking, but no need now.

I tried to book our Alaska at Cote Ghyll and told we'd be charged for 2 pitches, so we took the frame tent instead, only to turn up and find bigger tents than the Alaska there, all fitting nicely onto 1 pitch, it did peeve me off slightly, but everything else was spot on so didn't see any reason to let it spoil the stay.
