We saw lots of lightening on our holiday abroad recently.  OH told son it was jesus taking photos of us (I didn't know about this) and then son told me jesus isn't where we live cos he doesn't take photos of us - took me a while to find out where that came from!!  But then realised every time we've had a storm he's slept through it. 

Yes we had a storm in Cornwall last August and like someone else has said, you can see the lightening with your eyes shut - it's great.

We had two big storms in Somerset this weekend, it was wonderful, Thursday night we sat under the sun canopy watching the lightening flash across the sky and then Monday morning we were woken at around 5am by a huge storm and torrential rain.

It was fab, I love thunder and lightening and I love being in the tent in the rain.

It didn't bother me at all, I'm not sure if that makes me hard core or daft but I'm really not sure that there is much risk?

We love it too and have never worried about the risk either.

If we worried about everything we wouldnt leave the house!
