We have just returned from a weekend in Dorset (near to Corfe castle) It was very hot and sunny and the tent was VERY hot in the day. However, you will not be in the tent much during the day and it does cool down very rapidly in the evening. At home you are usually not outside after 10pm, in a tent you are 'outside' all the time. It was actually a bit chilly as soon as the sun went down. We used sleeping bags opened up like duvets, and had an extra blanket just in case, I needed it! We do not have EHU so did not have, or need fans, if the weather was hot and humid at night you could need fans, but if the weather is just hot and sunny, the nights are much cooler and pleasant. We got 2 really good nights sleep. At home we have had some really hot sweaty nights - due entirely to the weather ! 17
