Thanks so much for all the tips, Andorra will be sat on the back seat of the car on her way to Cornwall this weekend.  The weather reports seem to be getting scary, but we will brave it.  Last August we actually couldn't see our tent through the fog when we were in Cornwall, and it was 2 days before we realised there was a beautiful church in the field next door!  Still, its those things you remember, unlike 2 weeks lying on a beach in the med - although that does actually seem quite tempting.....!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone.  We're back from Cornwall and following all your great advice about weathering and groundsheets etc we took Andorra and stayed warm and dry.  This was our first time in our Cabanon and we are now complete converts!!  We had wind, rain, thunder, lightning and even rolled up the front for a few minutes to let the sunshine in - good old Cornish weather.  We had the best nights sleep and the tent hardly moved.  I am sure we wouldn't have enjoyed ourselves without all the tips on here.  Thanks to all.
