omg thank you so much for your replies. Will make my hubby read them after and come up with a new plan of action.

Normally she ( and her brother 7 ) go to bed when camping around 10pm so alot later than there normal 7pm. We have a vango icarus and the children have a bedroom each with the dividing curtain up and me and hubby sleep in the main area. Just thought the 2 of them sharing would have been too much of a nightmare.

I think I might try a ready bed this weekend ( if can borrow one from a friend ) and get some glo sticks and a torch. Failing that I suppose we could all sleep together but I am sure that has problems too - like how do you get into your sleeping bag when the kids are fast asleep after several night caps !!!

lol no camping nookie yet. Might progress to that next year !!!

Wanted to report back we have had 2 blissful nights of sleep whilst camping in Caernarfon as my 3 year old slept both nights without waking once !!! I purchased a ready bed ( £12.99 from home and bargain ) and this did the trick as no tossing and turning. Also took her quilt from home which did the trick. So massive thumbs up for the ready bed and thanks again for all the help.

It was so nice to wake up nice and refreshed. Now if we can just stop it from raining we will be sorted !!
