Layers layers and more layers,we have camped in november but january was worse!!!!!!,wont lie to you its cold lol,but i was quite toasty with jogging bottom, two tee's two fleeces big furry socks, and the old trusty a hat,i find if my head/face is warm i can usually get nice and comfy. All this on climb into a sleeping bag,zip up throw a heavy fleece blanket over me and im down for the night...make sure you go to the loo before all this cos its hard work getting out to use the toilet once you are mummified LOL.
I bet you have fun though, good luck

Aye, I cant wait now actually. The invites have gone out to see how many others will join. Got the Friday off work so we can get there in the morning and get a good pitch.

Grabbing myself some winter trousers, and a decent headtorch too!

Agree on the layers though, ive advised everyone else the same. Im thinkinf of taking two pairs of gloves - one fingerless and one full pair. Anyone reccomend any particular ones? I dont mind spending that bit extra to ensure they last a long time.
