The pipe that is supplied is round and fitted perfectly, not sure if you are looking at the right Hoover. This one is NOT a handheld model.

Cheap small goblin type hoover works for us,hardly takes any space plus quite handy for hoovering the crumbs inside the tent,try e-bay for a cheap one.
