i paid about 400£ 4 years ago for my bl6 from outdoor action in blackburn, its a great tent and i would not be without it, but as the price has doubled in four years and to be honest the model has hardly changed, i think outwell have a cheek charging so much

yes, but it's open - not an awning... I wanted an awning
I reckon they will bring one out in a couple of years. Get people to upgrade to the extension, then try to tempt them to buy again by launching the awning!
We currently use the Monty extension on out BL6 and it works well and looks okay. Doubt if funds will allow us to upgrade to BL extension this year

SNAP (ish) we paid £443 from them for the 2007 model early in 2008. Couldn't afford £800+ to buy one these days
We paid £540 for our Bear 4 at the end of 2009 and bought the side extension this year for £140 i think it was or might have been less. Anyway, bought it and skinted ourselves as I knew it would go up and everywhere else was selling for alot more. Glad we did as they did go up and on hols this year it was worth every penny.
