Not a daft question at all. I would of tried freezing the wine but it always seems to get drunk before that stage in our house!

Yes, it is a case of holding it under the tap with the wine tap depressed, but you have to hold it tight up to the tap/hose pipe, otherwise you'll get very wet, like I did!
