I was feeling a bit like this - seemed like so much work. Hadnt been for over 2 years and was terrified of how it would be with a toddler now in tow. Went for one night a couple of weekends ago and it was fab. The sun shines, everyone is happy, LO was in her element running around. Just go for a night, take basic stuff and have a bbq tea. Good food and a drink on a nice site overlooking the sea did it for me, now looking forward to our next longer trip.
Sometimes in life every thing seems hard work , even fun . Hormones do it for me
Tho not suggesting its an issue for you . I have always worried on holiday about making sure the kids had 3 proper meals/ washed /had enough sleep/clean clothes/brushed hair ..blah blah . Coming to the conclusion I worry too much . I am sure once your there , burnt sausage in hand and a nice glass of something you will feel much better x
LOL, my kids didn't clean their teeth or brush their hair for 3 days last time we went away, who cares? Actually, I did but nobody else seemed to mind.

Awww thanks everyone, I am feeling much more excited now, having ordered the sleep mats and last night I was even looking at some campsites to book and (drumroll please) getting excited So thanks everyone, I know once we go it will be fab and its always me that never wants to come home and then gets the post camp blues I think maybe the lack of sun this week and me not feeling 100% (I have Fibromyalgia) was just making me feel like it was too much hard work!
