And there was me thinking how lucky we've been with the weather for our camping trips which have included Easter, Royal wedding, Springbank and at least a weekend a month since, so out of about 24 days of camping, we've only had about 4 days of cloudy/cool/rainy weather, the rest of it has been mild weather and lovely sunshine. Fingers crossed for the remaining season, at least another 14 days and more if the weather holds out.

Guess thats Yorkshire for you!

Weather looking ok for this weekend for us in Settle , fingers crossed. Have done 2 pretty wet trips last month so praying for a bit of sunshine.

Woot.....Ive done my back in!! (very painful) so cant go this weekend Yes! doctor signed me off for two weeks so I have had a 2nd chance to rebook the holiday for mid August.... fingers crossed.....

We got back yesterday and put tents down in the middle of rain, wind hell!!! We had encouraged our friend to take up camping and come with us. The weekend wasn't forecast good weather but they said if we were going, they would as they bought a tent off ebay and it has to be used! Fair play to them. They came with their 2 kids and us with our lot and some other friends and they loved it..even though she got bit by midges and the tent leaked a little. They said it was the best fun ever and so glad they didn't let the weather stop them. If we waited for guaranteed camping weather we'd never leave the house!
