I think its pretty fair at least go are allowing their faulty returns onto the market and not skipping them, at least you got your 3 bargain tents. I bought a canopy, chair and tent bag so ive used up my 3 bargains

Imagine if Tesco's only allowed you to visit 3 times, they would soon run out of customers. I am afraid the same will happen to this seller. There are only a finate amount of campers in the UK. Should at least be 3 per month but you should be allowed to buy what you want as long as you have the money. Its put me off GO outdoors . Shame Alchemy has to live with crazy rules.
GO are using Alchemistic as a partner to sell through tent returns effectively (surely this is better than filling tips & land fill sites with unwanted canvass?)
What GO as a company must take in mind is this - every tent that is sold through Alchemistic is a potential lost sale in their stores - this is good business sense!
Unfortunately its a case of you`re damned if you do and you`re damned if you don't?

Dave - glad you have made a comment on this subject. I do understand where Go are coming from. I would not have bought 3 more tents at full price but were Go have benefited is I have bought canopies,carpets and footprints at full price to go with the 3 cheaper tents. I think Go customer service is outstanding as you know but I think Alchemist have taken it a step too far by blocking me from buying non camping items from them.

I used to get items from Alchemistic Ltd too i'd get all the items sorted, put the tents up for photos and resale them all the things that Alchemistic Ltd did not do they happy to sell tents to anybody until they saw that the guys doing all the hard work of sorting and taking all the photos were doing better than were doing then they moved the goal posts the service was bad, the items got worse and the prices went up (shill bidding)
when i went back to return a very bad item, Alistair tried to fob me off with a rubber cheque claiming that he never ever carried money,
I stood my ground and he called the police, they turned up very quickly (think he claimed that i'd beat him up)
they were not fooled (think that he had tried that one before) they had a private chat with him and guess what, i got my money, in cash, must have been magic
after that he changed the rules again and told buyers the could not re-sell any items and that they could only buy 3 items
Since then there have been loads of complaints about his business practices
recently his ebay shop has vanished and Alchemistic Ltd was declared Insolvent and wound up August 3, 2013.
Just imagine if Go Outdoors only allowed people to buy 3 items on their card. Lol
Imagine that people would buy their stuff on e-bay,they would lose custom in main shop

I work in retail and your right heavily reduced stock is limited to 6 per customer, to protect availability and allow everyone a bargain. No we can't stop customers coming back in but if we recongnise them and know they have had their limit we do stop them purchasing more!
Why should only a select few benefit????
