I've just got a roofbox and will be using it for the first time camping in a week, it'll be interesting to see how much extra we can fit in but I have a feeling my wife and daughters will just fill it with shoes and makeup!

large silver backed picnic rug for on top of the airbed to stop the damp patch that sometimes develops when it's cold.

I've got one of those vinyl/ripstop collapsible roof boxes. We live in a small house, so need it to fit through the loft hatch in the house.

Amazingly, we manage to go camping in a Fiat 500 with the addition of the roofbox. 5 man tent (Vango Calista 500), food for a week, chairs, roll up table, and room for an 18 month old (although she'd quite well packed :)).

All my mates don't understand how we get to camp with so much stuff. I am a bit of a tetris king when it comes to packing though.

3 way fridge/coolbox (we don't use EHU) and storage cupboard which doubles as a work surface ... I cook a lot when we camp so I like a bit of comfort.

The other thing I thing is the best thing since sliced bread is my adjustable leg table as we rarely camp on a flat pitch
