I wouldn't think of anything else than watching just for a little bit and then helping! Been there and done that, it really helps to get new campers into our hobby if they get a friendly hand. And reassures seasoned campers that we are all good people.

My OH is convinced that a permanent raincloud follows my tent where ever it is pitched. Apparently, I could end all drought and famine in Africa simply by pitching my tent there!

Sitting watching someone have a barny putting a tent up is amusing (I'm sure we have been watched in the past

). But standing by whilst someone is obviously struggling and about to fly off with their tent is just mean spirited IMHO.
